PHOENIX, Aug. 13, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Grand Canyon University Worship Arts program has released its eighth album, Canyon Worship 2024. The album features 10 new songs, all of which were written and performed by GCU students and recorded in the University's state-of-the-art recording studio.

"There were a lot of collaborations for this year's songwriting efforts," said Eric Johnson, GCU Recording Studio Manager. "Students came together to collaborate on these songs, which in turn has produced some of the best songs of the Canyon Worship album catalog yet."

Since last September, one single off the album has been released each month. The final single was released in July, making the full album now available. In addition to releasing the album, the Worship Arts program also releases chord charts and lyric sheets so that churches can learn and use the songs.

The 10 songs and songwriters on Canyon Worship 2024 are:

  • Just One Look (Jocelyn Ruassay and Jonathan Raingruber)
  • Song of Moses (Madison Russell and Marshanna Maxwell)
  • My Surrender (Kyleigh Almich)
  • You Are Good (Abby Sorensen)
  • Home (Edwin Lopez, Trina Beecher)

  • Surrendering (Olivia Lazzarini)
